FAQs

What is the difference between ceramic tiles for the bathroom and for the kitchen?
The tiles are not different. Yet in the kitchen, in areas that might get dirty more frequently (especially the countertop), its highly recommended not to use rough textured tiles, but rather smooth or glazed tiles in order to make cleaning easier.
What are the most important parameters for choosing sanitary ware?
There are two main parameters that should be checked before buying new sanitary ware:
1. Functionality:
  • Toilet Seat and Bidet
Structure – Structure must allow only the minimum amount of stains and marks. Check the width of the bottom of the bowl and the angles of the walls around it to make sure there will be minimal friction of body waste and the walls, and to make sure that the washing of the base will be done effectively and with ease (so that there won’t be a need to flush more than once).
Glazing – It is recommended that every part of the bowl/bidet should be glazed (including hidden spots), in order to prevent adsorption of dirt and body waste.

  • Sinks
Basin – Check the width and depth of the sink to make sure that it is deep enough, otherwise water will splash out.
Drainage –   You should make sure that the water drains into the siphon at the correct angle and at the right speed.  The wrong angle might prevent the water from going down the drain properly, thus keeping dirt and water in the sink, and limescale will form on the walls.
2.  Design Finish:
Pay attention to the following details:
  • The glazing should be high quality and spread evenly over the sanitary ware. There should also be depth to the color.
  • Match the color of all the sanitary products that are meant for the same room.
  • Choose a theme (Classical, Vintage, etc.) and match it to the cladding and to the rest of the furniture in the room.
A stylish finish that was planned correctly, instantly gives a clean, slick and high standard look, even if the stlye is not sophisticated or unique.
What kind of product can I buy in the outlet stores?
Any product that is sold at the rest of our stores is sold at the outlet store as well. In addition, the outlet stores also sell products that we have a surplus in, as well as products from earlier collections that have been removed from our new collection. All this at a special price.
I hired an interior designer to help me redecorate my house. Is it recommended that they be there while choosing the new tiles?
The decision to bring an interior designer along changes from client to client.  The majority of clients come without a designer and rely on their own personal taste while assisted by the store's professional staff.
Our staff deals daily with designing and matching the style of the costumer with the ever changing variety of products on the market.  If the costumer prefers to bring a designer along – we will be glad to be of assistance if anything is needed.
Is it recommended that I choose tiles from your online catalogue? (Or is it better that I stop over by the store?)
Of course you can purchase through the online catalogue, although we recommend that you stop by the store and consult with our in store designers about matching your new tiles to your home's unique conditions.
How do I properly maintain my ceramics?
On a regular basis it is best to use soap and water.  Make sure that any cleaning agent that is used does not contain any form of wax. Wax leaves unwanted marks and stains on the tiles. We recommend to never use any strong and invasive cleaners on the tiles without first testing the cleaner on a small/hidden spot as not to ruin the uniformed glazed look if by chance the cleaner does not have the desired effect.
